Saturday was Lawson Riley Coble's 7th birthday! Hard to believe he is 7 - seems like just last week Poppy and I were driving to Phoenix to help him celebrate his first birthday!
Things that happened years ago are more often than not, feeling like last week. I have noticed it is a common thread in my life these days. Does that mean I am getting old? NO - but it does mean Lawson is growing up!
Lawson had his birthday party at Murphy Park so that he and his friends could fish. That little boy loves to fish! Several of his friends from cub scouts, t-ball and football came to celebrate with him.
The daddy's stayed busy putting bait on hooks and taking little fish off of the same hooks - over and over and over again. This Nene didn't offer to help - Nene doesn't do bait and fish and things.
Lawson's mommy made a special cake - Pokeman - one of Lawson's favorite toys/games/trading cards these days.
There were presents, cake, hot dogs, chips, crickets, worms, fish, fishing poles, lots of smiles which all equaled fun!
